In this medieval era, there are women called "Claymore". They are result of an experiment to stand against overwhelming fear of monsters who see man kind as their food source. Because of some reasons, only women seemed to be able to become "Claymore". Even so, there is very slim chance of being a claymore. Claymore is a mixture of monster and human. Basically, the body is monster's and the head is human's. Although it does seem to be more than that, that is what technically a claymore is. Like their nicknames, they carry a large two-handed sword. And Claymore also has silver iris just like monsters do. Their silver eyes are able to see monsters that formed into human shape.
