Whether or not you like Great Place High School Student Council probably depends on whether or not one of the featured couples hits your kinks. One of the teachers at school is aggressively chasing the school medic who may not be as reluctant as he seems. Kotone has pushed his cousin Suzune past the kissing stage. The main focus is on Eichi and Rin, who have been companions since childhood. Eichi gave Rin a home after his family destroyed Rin's family. Their relationship became sexual after Rin was attacked at school.

Supporting characters include prone-to-hysterics Ryouichi Tsuruga; Naruhito, his twin brother who loves them both because of the beautiful face they share, Haruki Kumatsuzura, a big, gruff sort who likes cute things; his little sister and her young friend who has a crush on Kuma; and candy-loving cutie Minami Wakamatsu whose cosplay-loving sister provides costumes for the boys.

Unsurprisingly for a manga that uses “moé” in dialogue, the character designs are super cute and very appealing. This volume marks a transition to longer stories from the yonkoma format of Great Place High School, and also puts the spotlight on Eichi and Rin. The tone varies between the silly antics of the Information Management Club and the angst-filled relationship drama. Koujima sets out to make girls who like schoolboys happy and succeeds.
