Title: Safe Again Today by Jinsu Yoo and Suhla Park (scanlated by entropy)
Imagine, if you will, that there are aliens living among us, beings from the far reaches of space who have fled their worlds to live on ours. They take on human bodies and human names, pretending with all their might to be as human as anyone else. What nefarious plans are these aliens hatching with their deception of the human race? Well, mostly their plans seem to revolve around going to school, going on dates, making money, renting a house, and…well… being human.

Title: Burning Pen by Kazuhiko Shimamoto (scanlated by Seven Star Stories)
Burning Pen is the story of mangaka Moyuru Honoh (no relation to Kazuhiko Shimamoto), a "normal mangaka that you can see anywhere, currently working on 6 different monthly series", "just one of those mangaka whose boiling blood can be felt emanating from his body" -- told "in the hope that everyone will realize that all mangaka are like this!" Title: School of Water Business by Hikaru Murozumi and Shinobu Inokuma (scanlated by Tama-chan Scans)
Welcome to the Tokyo Water Business High School's inaugural year. Also known as Mizushou, it is located in Shinjuku, "in a district where the night belongs to booze and bodily fluids". To the rest of the world, it is a place for "the troubled kids who couldn't get into a regular high school"; but Mizushou's school principal insists that they are not dropouts, but pioneers -- "those who will sow the seeds of pride and ethics in the savage, virgin land that is the water trade." And the water trade? It is the business of said "booze and bodily fluids" -- that's right, the sex trade.

Title: May Not Miss Pervert Fall in Love? by Saki Urara (scanlated by unknown)
May Not Miss Pervert Fall in Love? by Saki Urara is one of the better hentai compilations I’ve read in a while. The entire volume consists of seven chapters, four of which are based around “Miss Pervert” (a.k.a. Mishima Chika), a young lady not unlike a female cat on heat. In true hentai fashion, the story kicks off with Chika – get this – groping a guy on a train...

Title: Retsujou Kyoumushitsu by Takashi Kanzaki (scanlated by Attractive Fascinante)
Kanzaki tells a story with just enough self-conscious cynicism, just enough characterization, and just enough bone-tickling humor to distract and silence the intellect, so that the loins can get het up in peace. It's a delicate balance, and I imagine the balance point is different for different people. Kanzaki manages to hit my sweet spot with just a touch of genuine psychology -- but not so much that the product ceases to be senseless, torrid, lustful, and, like all porn, very very bad.
