Viz Launches Osamu Tezuka's Manga Exhibition with Interactive Manga Lounge:
Viz Media has announced its partnership with the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco to produce the Manga Lounge which will complement the highly anticipated Tezuka: The Marvel of Manga exhibition. The Lounge will be open May 13 thru September 9, 2007 and coincides with the run of the exhibition, June 2 - September 9, 2007. Comprehensive details are available at www.marvelofmanga.org.

New Magazines to Celebrate Osamu Tezuka's 80th Birthday:

The Tezuka production has announced the launch of Osamu Tezuka Magazine, as a commemoration of "Osamu Tezuka's 80th Birthday", November 3, 2008. The magazine will be available in two series, the Osamu Tezuka's On-Demand Magazine and Osamu Tezuka's Motion Magazine, which will be available in digital version for PC and Cellphone, with contents that have never been revealed before.

On Demand has started its distribution in April. From it, the user can then put together a set of work they like and create Osamu Tezuka Manga Collection, a book version for only 1365 yen each. As for Motion Magazine, it will be the manga illustration from Tezuka, with added music and special effects and camera moving through panels. It will be a "Moving Manga". There will be 50 episode, with 5 minutes each, 100 yen for PC service, 80 yen for Cell phone.
